Selling Your Home |

What does this mean? A buyers market is one in which there are many more sellers than buyers. Buyers have more choice, and they can be more discriminating. Homes sell more slowly, if at all, and price becomes an even more important factor than in a balanced market. What it does NOT mean is that a home that is properly priced and effectively promoted will not sell. YOU CAN STILL SELL YOUR HOME But you need to work with an experienced Realtor to make it happen and price the home appropriately, low enough that it will attract potential buyers who will want to take a look at it, and yet high enough that you will squeeze every potential dollar out of your home's value. If you ask several listing agents at what price you should list your home, some will give you a high price so that you will feel good about listing with them, but you will not hear much more from them until they come back to you to suggest a price drop. Others will try to get you to list low. That way, they get a quick sale and a quick commission, but you don't get your home's value. HIGHTOWER REALTY is no longer able to list homes for sale. I am too busy working with buyer to have time to work effectively with sellers, too. I can help you find a good Realtor who will be able to help you, though, so just ask. |
