What is a Buyer's Agent? |
HIGHTOWER REALTY Denis Le Marchant-Smith 407-922-3080 |
As your Buyers Agent, my job is to represent your interest and help you to get the very best deal. So remember, if you call the number on a Realtor's 'For Sale' sign or on a listing agent's webpage, you will be talking to the seller's representative. Instead of getting a sales pitch, call me and get all the facts. I work as a transaction broker, which is one of two types of relationship between a real estate broker and his clients that are permitted under Florida law. The other type is single agent. Hightower Realty acts as transaction broker for all buyer clients. Clients will receive a full disclosure of their relationship with the broker, but the following briefly describes the main duties of the broker in this type of relationship: 1. Dealing honestly and fairly; 2. Using skill, care and diligence in the transaction; 3. Disclosing all known facts that materially affect the value of a property; 4. Limited confidentiality, preventing disclosure that a seller will accept a lower price or that a buyer will offer a higher price. 5. Presenting all offers and counter-offers in a timely manner. |
